Arrival

All visitors to the school should note that the main entrance is located on Parsonage Road (not Earl's Court Road), as is the pedestrian entrance for parents when dropping off and collecting pupils.

The school has a small car park available for staff and pre-approved visitors only. The car park is opened at the start and end of the school day to allow the transport service access to drop-off and collect pupils from the Resource Base.

Parents wishing to park close to the school are able to request a free parking permit from the school office. This enables free parking in Central car park between 8:30-9am and 3:00-3:30pm, helping to ease traffic congestion around the school. Parsonage Road parking is limited and priority given for local residents. Therefore, we kindly ask parents to walk where possible, or, to make use of the local car parks centrally and at Co-op and walk the final 1-2 minutes to school.

School Absence Procedures

At Christ the King Catholic School we urge parents to ensure that their children are in school "Here Everyday, Ready On-time" we call this being an attendnace HERO.  Before deciding to keep your child home from school due to illness, parents should ensure that they have consulted the NHS advice page "Is my child too ill for school?"

Inform the school by either emailing office@ctk.thedcet.com  or phoning us on 01980 622039 before 9am.

School will only authorise unavoidable medical appointments during the school day and these must be evidenced by the original appointment letter. Routine dental, optician and medical appointments will not be authorised as these can be scheduled during school holidays or after school with careful planning.
