Christ The King Catholic School

Christ The King Catholic School

Let the love of God shine through us by smiling and being gentle

Why work or volunteer at Christ the King?

At Christ the King you will find a supportive and inclusive team of staff who have excellent relationships with each other and the children in our school.  Our school values are rooted in kindness and care through showing love for one another, an ethos that you will get an immediate sense of as soon as you walk through the school doors. Working at Christ the King allows our staff to not only have a community facing role where we strive to build and sustain positive relationships, but the majority of our roles are term-time only, which suit those seeking to find the balance between work and family life.

Our school is proud to be part of The Dunstan Catholic Educational Trust (DCET), a multi-academy trust of Catholic schools across Clifton Diocese. This valuable partnership allows our school and staff the support and professional development opportunities of working collaboratively across a community of schools, whilst maintaining our own distinct school identity.

Although we are Catholic School, we welcome applications from all members of the community - of all faiths and none. We do ask that those who work in our school support our Christian values.

Practically, Christ the King has excellent access situated in the heart of Amesbury, with links to both the A303 and A345: commutes by car from Salisbury or Andover take no more than 20minutes.
