This valuable partnership allows our school and staff the support and professional development opportunities of working collaboratively across a community of schools, whilst maintaining our own distinct school identity.

Practically, Christ the King has excellent access situated in the heart of Amesbury, with links to both the A303 and A345: commutes by car from Salisbury or Andover take no more than 20minutes.

Lunchtime Supervisor
Lunchtime Supervisor
Salary: £11.59 per hour
Hours: 5 hours per week - Monday to Friday – 12-1pm (term time only)
Christ The King Primary School, Amesbury is part of the Dunstan Catholic Educational Trust, as a community of Catholic schools we aspire to give children an all-round education rooted in Christian values in a nurturing environment where they flourish, become lifelong learners and fulfill their potential. We are seeking to appoint new lunchtime staff to join our school team and help support the children during the lunch period. Applicants should be able to work as part of a caring and professional team, have good organisational skills and demonstrate initiative. If you are able to meet the requirements of these roles, we would love to hear from you.
The main duties of the role include:
- Setting up the tables and benches in the dining hall
- Supervising and assisting the children whilst they eat their lunch and enjoy their play
The successful applicant will:
- Have good interpersonal skills
- Be reliable and conscientious
- Be able / or have experience of establishing positive relationships with children.
- Manage behaviour in line with the school policy
- Have an enthusiasm for and an active interest in children’s welfare and play.
- Engage pupils n purposeful activity during the lunchtime (during both good weather and wet lunchtimes)
- Be able to use their initiative and be open to new ideas
- Promote healthy eating and well being
