Admissions
Christ the King Roman Catholic Voluntary Aided primary school, within the Diocese of Clifton serves the
parish of Christ the King, Amesbury.
Most of our children come from Amesbury with children in the SEN Resource Base sometimes travelling in from further afield. There is a separate application process for places in the Resource Base.
Applying to the main school at Christ the King School does not in any way mean a future place in the Resource Base is more likely to be allocated to your child. Please contact us if you would like more information about this.
The governing body, acting in accordance with the Code of Practice and the Clifton Diocesan Policy Statement, is responsible for the admission of pupils.
Applications for a place at Christ the King must be made using the Primary Common Application Form. This form is available in paper form but parents are advised to apply online direct to Wiltshire County Council at https://admissions.wiltshire.gov.uk/prefs.php
As a Catholic school we also request that parents/carers complete the school supplementary form . This form should be returned to school along with any relevant evidence such as baptismal certificates.
The deadline for applications for the Reception class is displayed around the school and in the Admissions link on the school website.
For admission to the school in September 2021 the deadline is 15th January 2022
